5 ways to improve your thinking ability and to become a POSITIVE THINKERS.

POSITIVE THINKING

In present situation, all the employers need a candidate who is having a positive thinking. I also heard this word from my professors and trainers during my academic, heard from my superior and top management people.

When we talk about positive thinking, you should also understand the meaning of Negative thinking rather than positive thinking. Because, sometimes positive thinkers will required to work in a negative approach in order to create a situation which leads to success. I am going to share few tips about positive thinking, and the ways to improve it in this blog.

WHAT IS MEANT BY POSITIVE THINKING?

In simple words, positive thinking is nothing but one having a mental attitude in which he/she expect good, an expected results, or favorable results from their task or any situation. In order to achieve favorable or expected results, people should create thoughts that make and transform your actions into reality. Be remember, positive thinking will boost your energy levels and make you healthier always.

HOW DOES POSITIVE THINKING HELP US TO REACH OUR GOALS?

Positive thinking will boost your energy levels and make you to think about your destination where you want to go. It works internally within you, and keep you posted about your actions (past, present and future).

WHAT ARE THE WAYS TO IMPROVE OUR POSITIVE THINKING ?

People do not have any standard ways, rule to improve positive thinking. And you need not to study 1 year course or other programme to improve your thinking. It completely varies from person to person and it depends on how they brought up, grew up and their network. Even I still learn from my superior/leader, Managing Director, an adviser and my parents.

As I mentioned above, positive thinking is a mental attitude of a person. However, motivation is a vital part when you need to improve your thinking ability. Hence, you should have self – motivation.

There are few people will go to attend soft skill training classes, other training related to motivation and they may spend a lot of money in order to build their career. The purpose of attending training is to bombard yourself and make you to think in a positive way with self-motivation.

Note: The person who does not have a self-motivation, he only required motivation by others. If you do not have self-motivation, then you might not have any dreams in your mind/life. If you spend much on training, classes, nothing will help you finally.

I have explained about the ways to improve our thinking ability in this blog based on my own experience.

WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR POSITIVE THINKING

1. POWER OF VISUALIZATION Visualization is nothing but always having a mind setup how you want to show yourself to others. It may be during your talk, discussion, sharing your views with others, asking questions and etc. Everyday think you are good and confident communicator, you are presenting a paper/ or sales presentation or delivering a speech in front of 1000 people, all the messages has reached to receiver. All the people are expressing claps on you about your speech. Think you have achieved something in the world before going to bed all the days. Your parents are proud on you and they are telling about you to your relations about your life journey. Your parents are very happy now. Be remember, you should not allow your conscience to be in situation to grow or develop yourself as Egotist character. Think always positive.

2. PUT SOME POSITIVE PRESSURE ON YOURSELF – Have some pressure on your mind. When there is no pressure on your mind/head, you will not achieve anything. For example, if your are sales person take ownership of the products which has been assigned by your company in a particular region, if you are Financial adviser take all the responsibilities and necessary steps to grow wealth of your clients. When there is pressure on your head, you will achieve 100% of results. Try to keep some pressure on your mind and announce it to family members or friends or colleagues and also tell them how you achieved later. And think everyday 10 times how to achieve your goals with positive efforts.

3. WRITE DOWN ON A PLAIN WHITE PAPER

  • Write down your dreams/goals on a plain white paper, collect some pictures related to your dreams. For example, if you are having a dream of buying/constructing 3 BHK luxury flat, I want to construct a duplex villa with AC rooms, car parking, garden, out house and etc, want to buy a Car, I want to give good education to my child, want to achieve retirement corpus of X amount financial position. Write down all these goals on a paper and start to collect 3BHK housing floor plans or images, workout on your plan and keep it in separate notebook till you realize your goals.
  • Read your goals and remember thrice every day before going to bed and after wake up from your bed.
  • Set a particular date (normally future date as DD/MM/YYYY) when you want to achieve those dreams in your life.
  • Review your goals once in 6 months and list out separately which is more priority than other goals.

4. FOLLOW THE 21 DAYS GOLDEN RULE –If you do anything or practice continuously for 21 days, it becomes your habit in your life unless you force by yourself to stop or postpone it. This 21 days golden rule will automatically induce your sub conscious and forces you to think in a positive way. You can able to identify a lot of differences within yourself Post 21 days if you practice it well manner. Additionally, do meditation for 10-15 minutes every day. Spend 5 minutes for Power of visualization before going to bed and in the morning. Don’t give up yourself to stop this practice during 21 days.

5. ENJOY THE PROCESS –Always enjoy with your process and don’t postpone at any of your work. You may be in a situation to postpone this practice, but restart this practice once you back to normal situation. Always feel, “You enjoy your Practice rather than doing & your performance”. If you feel the fear, you just do it and do not stop your journey anywhere”. Never be afraid of your life. Life will give you more and more complex situations and good opportunities to tackle all the situations and lead you to success in your life.

Are you searching a new job? Here are some ideas to learn & remember always before you get ready for an interview.

images

Everyone has eager to work as early as possible after completion of their graduation.

Does everyone want to work?

Is it true?

NO. I don’t want to say “everyone has eager to work”; I say “Everyone want to earn money” after their graduation immediately. Only few people have eager to work in their career and make their milestones. Rests are working for survival purposes.

Some people forced by their family situation to search a job, some people forced by their parents to search a job and also to take care of their business activities as earlier, some people will go to higher studies and to build up their career later stage. Also few people will get an opportunity to work somewhere before they attend final examination thru campus placement. However, most of the student will not get placement during their academic and leads to search a job on their own after graduation.

We will read this blog to get some ideas to search a job effectively and quickly. Normally, to search a job people will migrate to bigger city/state for survival purposes.

What will they do in bigger city? If they choose to work in other state, they must be having a problem of other regional languages, food and other health issues; even they might not have a close relationships & friends.

How does a newly graduated person handle this situation and come out with a new job?

Here are the ideas:

SET A GOAL OR DEADLINE TO GET A NEW JOB

Make your mindset to get a job within 30 days or write down future date on the separate note work to get a job within.  (Say I want to get a job on or before MM/DD/YYYY)

Remind yourself about this deadline everyday and starts to count rest days.

IDENTIFY THE AREA OF INTEREST YOU WANT TO WORK

When you able to identify your area of interest you want to work, you should also know the reason why you chosen, and other alternative jobs, related companies to your area of interest. This will help you how to identify how depth you have knowledge, make you to think out of box, and show how you want to grow in your career path, what kind company you look.

IDENTIFY YOUR SKILLS

It is most important to know your skills after identifying area of interest/domain to work. Identifying your skills is not an easy task as a newly graduate people. To identify your skills, you will need to discuss with your professors/mentors, well wishers. However, I don’t think everyone will do this during their academic. And even colleagues are not encouraging this activities/counseling in their campus.

Don’t worry. TIME and your personal experience will teach you to identify your skills. However, I strongly suggest you to discuss with your professor at least later and maintain a good relationship with them. Always keep surrounding people who got successful in their life and talk to them frequently.

  • Once identify your area of interest/domain to work, try to attend an interview as much as possible (at least 2-3 interviews per day or 10 interviews per week) in the relevant companies/domain area.
  • Make a note of your performance during an interview each. (Analysis by yourself)
  • Make a note of employer feedback, your strengths and weakness. Also write down what kind of skills an employer looks/needs from the candidate. Analysis your weakness rather than strengths and focus on your weakness to build up your career development.
  • Review your skills, strengths, and overcome weakness before going to attend next interview.

GET ADVICE FROM SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE AND YOUR WELL WISHERS

Everyone must be wanted to become like someone who got successful in their life. Find people whose success you want to emulate and ask them about their journeys and milestones. Discuss with them about your difficulties and get their advice, improve your skills, and searching ability.

You can also discuss with your well wishers, relatives and friends who work in the same area/domain or who recently got an opportunity to work in an organization.

Ask about their experience during an interview and their questions. Get an answer and practice it.

BEING INDEPENDENT

Being an independent is one of the skill. Always be independent when you search a job. I suggest you to give more priority to search and to get a job rather than combine with your friends/ relatives in the survival city. Go alone to attend an interview and do your home work further.

Be away from the people who speak and make you to be lack of confident. Think in a 360 degree angle, and search a job. Be remember, once you get a job, you can spend your timings with your friends and relatives to maintain your relationship. Even they respect you and treat in a good manner.

GROOMING

  • Choosing shirts, Pants, Chutidhaar for female, neat nail cuts, Belt and shoes are very important when you go to an interview. Always use dark color pants (expect black color), light color full sleeves shirts for men, tie. Shoes & belt color must be same. I suggest you to use Lenin, Raymond or Aravind cloths to look better.
  • For female, chutidhar or Sarees should be light color, light lip sticks and make-up if you like.
  • Say your name to an interviewer while you give shake hand if your gender as male. For female, it is not necessary and you can say “Hi with a smile and say your name”.
  • Drink enough water before going to an interview panel if feel dehydrated.

DO’S

  • Go to an interview venue at least 30 minutes before. Try to do home work, how to reach venue from your place one day in advance, consider traffic condition on the route in bigger cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru etc., Accordingly, you plan to reach an interview place.
  • Practice how you want to perform during an interview one day in advance. During practice, remember your weakness and correct it, and perform well in front of the mirror. This practice will help to be more confident and give concentration.
  • If you are looking to get a job in Management stream, learn how to make a SWOT analysis of the company. Write down in a paper and practice about SWOT analysis about particular company. Try to gather their competitors and their markets. Voluntarily get an opportunity during an interview and explain them about SWOT analysis which you done at home. It will help you to move further round of an interview.
  • Always use 2 page resume. If you are experienced person, use 3rd page as to show your salary details and expectations.
  • Don’t copy any formats from website/friends. Resume should be simple word format.
  • Make your resume as per company profile, roles and responsibilities.
  • Try to learn about company profile before attend an interview in a particular company.
  • Try to impress an interviewer when you give self introduction. If necessary, you can write down about self introduction around 15 lines and practice it in front of the mirror.
  • Always self introduction ends with a smile. Your smile should show an interviewer that you are ready for next questions during an interview.
  • Try to define yourself that you are better other others. Say “THANK YOU VERY MUCH” at the end of an interview season.

DON’Ts

  • Do not edit your CV more than 2 pages.
  • Do not apply/send your resume in PDF format and always use simple word format. An interviewer may use your resume to edit about your performance during an interview, draft your skills to succeed your role in their company, and other comments and forward it to concerned department/person for processing further. If you send resume in PDF format, it will hurt an interview to edit or make communication longer. Sometimes it even leads to reject status.
  • Do not follow up with an interview about your CV status more than twice after attending an interview. Follow up them just once.

Wish you all the best for your career and keep on rocking. Thanks for reading my blog and follow my blog for useful information from my own experiences.

3 External Factors That Are Affecting Your Success

Why is it that we allow external factors to determine our actions? Is it because we were programmed early on to have set beliefs about success and how to achieve it? Is it because we believe in other people more than we believe in ourselves?

Once you allow external factors to influence your actions or decisions, you lose. When you allow outside circumstances to dictate your way of thinking, you give away your power.

Below are three of the most common external factors—ones that have affected my life and maybe yours, too. It’s time to take a hard look at your life and work to eliminate the things holding you back.

1. Bad Habits

Bad habits can halt forward momentum. Becoming aware of your bad habits and replacing them with good ones is vital to achievement. I started by writing down my bad habits: Do I watch too much TV or play too many video games? Does this keep from getting my to-do list done? By writing them out, I became aware of how much time these things sucked from my day and detracted from more productive activities. Getting closer to achieving your dreams starts with awareness and knowing you could be doing something else, something better with your time.

2. Limiting Beliefs

Limiting beliefs can be caused from outside influences that affect your thoughts and actions. Growing up we were told by parents and teachers what we should do and how to do it. They told us what was wrong and what was right. This has been programmed into our belief system, and our adult brains default back when we’re faced with a scary and unknown situation. I used to have many limiting beliefs. I wasn’t sure how things would end up, and I would question what I was doing and why I was doing it. I would ask myself, Who am I to think I can do this? But eventually I had to become aware of my self-limiting beliefs and decide which thoughts were realistic and which ones were created by fear. You create your own thoughts and beliefs.

3. Negative Environment

Associating with a negative person or putting yourself in a negative environment can be the biggest (bad) influencer in your life. No matter how positive you are, a negative person or environment can rub off on you until your mind unintentionally resorts to negative thoughts before positive ones. For the longest time, I thought this wasn’t true. I thought being mentally strong would help me to not be affected by this. But I caught myself complaining, gossiping and seeing the negative first. So I made a conscious effort to lead with positivity. I felt better, not just emotionally, but physically, too. Take notice of your daily conversations. Are you involved or associating with complainers? If you constantly feel rundown and stuck in a rut, it’s time to re-evaluate your environment and see how you can change it for the better.

External factors need to be left outside of your mind. Today create awareness around what external factors are affecting you the most and make a plan to remove them for good!

Kick Your Bad Habits With These 4 Psychological Tricks

Smoking, overeating, nail biting, or wasting away the hours on YouTube; whatever your bad habits may be, there’s a good chance you’ve tried to give them up at one point or another, and perhaps you actually managed to ditch the offending behavior after a few months of exercising some extreme willpower.

But if you tend to find yourself raiding the pantry for chocolate chip cookies just two hours after you solemnly pledged to eat more healthily, you’re not alone.

According to research from the Journal of Clinical Psychology, approximately 54% of people who resolve to change their ways fail to make the transformation last beyond six months, and the average person makes the same resolution 10 times over without success.

So why is it so hard for us to make lasting changes to our behavior or attitudes?

Psychological scientists believe that the key to kicking bad habits lies in understanding our mental patterns and working with the brain rather than fighting against its natural processing system.

So next time you’re trying to turn over a new leaf, give some of these psychology-based tricks a go.

1. Figure out why and when you’re doing it.

There’s usually an underlying reason for your bad habits, such as boredom or stress, and if you pay attention, you’ll notice that all of your vices are tied to certain situations or routines.

These bad habits generally also reward you with something: smoking rewards you with stress relief, and wasting time on the Internet temporarily rewards you by diverting your attention.

Identifying how your vices are rewarding you, as well as when they occur is the first step to eliminating them from your life entirely.

For instance, you may notice that you drink more alcohol when you’re around certain people, or maybe you tend to overeat when you’re home alone. Knowing what triggers certain behavior can help you to come up with the right strategies for changing these unhealthy patterns.

2. Find a replacement habit.

Research shows that it’s far more effective to replace a bad habit with a better one than to simply cut out the old habit.

Why? Replacing a habit takes less mental effort than completely eliminating it, and believe it or not, willpower is actually a limited resource.

Once you’ve figured out how your vices are rewarding you, you can establish new habits that will reward you in similar ways, but without the same negative side effects, or at least fewer side effects.

For example, if you need to improve your diet, making an effort to snack on fruit instead of junk food would be a lot easier than not eating anything at all, and replacing your smoking break with another less damaging activity, like eating a small snack, would be more effective than doing nothing at all.

3. Don’t try to suppress your thoughts.

When trying to kick a bad habit, people often attempt to think about everything but that one activity, which of course, causes them to think about nothing but that one activity.

Why? Studies show that when we try to suppress thoughts, they actually come back stronger, because our subconscious doesn’t differentiate between “do” and “don’t” and will inevitably fixate on the one thing we’re trying so hard to ignore.

Psychologists have dubbed this phenomenon “ironic process theory.”

So, for instance, if someone tells you not to think about pink dinosaurs, you will immediately begin to think about pink dinosaurs. If you tell yourself not to think about having a smoke, all you’re going to be able to think about is going for a smoke, and you’ll start seeing the temptation everywhere.

4. Make changes to your routine or environment.

New situations make you more conscious of your behavior and choices, so changing something in your routine or environment, even if it isn’t directly connected to the habit you are trying to break, can make it easier to welcome new habits.

This is why big changes like moving to a new city or ending a relationship are often accompanied by smaller changes, like exercising more frequently or following a new diet.

One study published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology found that a new environment can remove the automatic guides for performing certain habits and help people to make new or different decisions about their daily routines.

Even small changes can make a big difference. For example, if you tend to overeat while watching TV, make an effort to sit at the table and turn off the television during meals so that you can be more conscious of your eating habits.

Easy Ways To Boost Your Confidence

Look at you. You’ve made it this far, haven’t you? No need to be insecure. Just the simple fact that you’re reading this means you’ve at least accomplished something in your life. Sure, it’s easy to get down on yourself sometimes. But there are so many reasons you have to be confident, and so many ways you can help yourself know it.

1. Only compare yourself to your past self

If you keep comparing yourself to others, of course you’re going to feel insecure. There’s always going to be someone out there better than you (unless you’re a world record holder or something, in which case I doubt you’re reading this).

The only person you should compare yourself to is…yourself. Look at who you were yesterday, a month ago, five years ago. Then look at who you are now. Then, think about where you’ll be tomorrow, a month from now, or five years from now. Keep building on who you were, and who you are, to become the person you want to be.

2. List your life’s accomplishments

Make a list of everything you’ve accomplished in the face of adversity. And again, don’t compare this list to someone else’s. I walk with a mild limp, which sometimes gets me down. But when I think of the fact that doctors told my parents I would never walk, every step I take feels like an accomplishment. I’ve also earned two degrees and gotten married to the most amazing person I’ve ever met.

Okay, enough about me. What have you done in your life that you have to be proud about? If I can be proud of being able to walk to the fridge for another Mountain Dew, you have to have something of your own to proudly brag about.

3. Be honest about what brings you down about yourself

Everyone has qualities they want to improve. There’s nothing wrong with admitting shortcomings. There is something wrong with acknowledging your shortcomings without doing something about them.

If you know you’d feel better about yourself if you could lose some weight, don’t just wish it would happen; put a plan in motion to reach your goal. Don’t just wish you finished college when you were younger – look for a way to fit in night classes at a local community college.

It’s never too late to improve yourself, until it is, and you’ll never get the chance to do better.

4. Admit past mistakes, and work toward fixing them

While we’re being honest with ourselves, let’s look at some of the mistakes we’ve made in our lives. Everybody messes up once in a while, and that’s okay. But just like it’s not okay to become complacent about our shortcomings, it’s also not okay to keep making the same mistake over and over again.

Making a mistake can be a turning point in your life – the moment when you realize you could be doing better. Don’t get stuck in the mindset that one mistake leads to failure. Realize that failure, when taken advantage of, is simply a pathway to success.

5. Smile more

It sounds simple, and maybe a bit silly. But smiling is not just a reflex to a positive stimulus; it can actually be a positive stimulus. Try it. You can actually trick your brain into believing you’re excited or happy about pretty much anything.

When you wake up and face the day with a smile, you’re more likely to feel positive about everything around you, including yourself.

6. Dress to impress

Just like smiling can make you feel better almost instantly, dressing “to the nines” can have the same effect, especially on your self-confidence. I am definitely not the most confident person in the world, but when I don a three-piece suit, I feel like I can take on anything.

Even on a daily basis, wearing slacks and a sweater rather than jeans and a sweatshirt can change your entire perspective of the world, and of yourself.

7. Face the world – literally

Put your phone away for once. Look straight forward when you walk down the street, or even when you’re sitting outside waiting for a friend. Greet strangers with a friendly, sincere smile. Make eye contact when conversing with people.

Stop staring at your shoes as you shuffle through the world. You’ll find the rest of the world to be much more pleasant than the ground. And you’ll feel more confident as you have a perfect view of your surroundings.

8. Live by the Serenity Prayer

Not George Costanza’s prayer. That just leads to insanity later. You know the one:

“God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.”

Some things in life can’t be fixed, and we must let them go. Some things can be fixed, and we must be the people to fix them. Some things, we’re just so passionate about that we would do anything to change them, but no matter what we do, our efforts will be in vain.

Having command over these issues in your life means you are in complete control, and can be confident to make improvements in your life and your world.

9. Live with integrity

Reinforce your words and ideals with actions. Don’t be that person that complains about the government but doesn’t vote, or the person that thinks sharing a Facebook post will help save the endangered rhinos.

If you believe in something, act on it. It’s much easier said than done, I know. But once you get moving, it’s hard to stop until you reach your goal. Strive for excellence and you’ll feel excellent.

10. Be kind to others and yourself

Being nice to others for the most part guarantees that you’ll get it in return. Although you shouldn’t simply be friendly just to get it back, a byproduct of this is that you’ll feel great when others are nice to you.

Not only will you feel great about having others be nice to you, you’ll also put yourself in a position to meet new people every time you step outside. This could lead to bigger opportunities, close friendships, and relationships that could last a lifetime.

11. Think positively about others and yourself

Along with being kind to others, find positive aspects of everyone you meet. Thinking positively about others has many benefits. For one, focusing on the good allows you to see the struggles they overcame and makes you appreciate them more.

Secondly, the way you think of others is subconsciously how you think others think of you; if you only see people in a positive light, you will begin to magnify the positives in your own life.

Lastly, thinking positively about others reflects well on you, and will lead to better connections and opportunities.

LIFE SKILLS – PART 1

LIFE SKILLS

  • YOU CAN NOT TEACH A MAN ANYTHING, YOU CAN ONLY HELP HIM, “DISCOVER IT WITHIN HIMSELF”.
  • STORY FOR I WAS DOING MY JOB. TAKE A EXAMPLE US PRESIDENT RONALD RENGAN IN 1980’s.
  • ALWAYS REMEMBER: SURVEY CONDUCTED BY HARVARD UNIVERSITY. AND STATES THAT,

IF YOU ENTER IN TO THE INTERVIEW CELL/CABIN YOU WILL BE PASS 15% OF INTERVIEW BASED ON YOUR ACADEMIC RECORD. AND REST OF 85% SUCCESSFUL BASED ON YOUR ATTITUDE. SO ATTITUDE IS VERY IMPORTANT.

  • LOOSERS ALWAYS GIVE REASONS WHEREAS WINNERS ALWAYS GIVE SUGGESTIONS.
  • READY ->AIM ->SHOOT it refers,

READY: I WANT A GOOD JOB, GOOD SALARY, I WANT TO BECOME A LEADER, CEO AND etc.

AIM: refers to IMPLEMENTATION BY HARD WORK, DETICATION, SCHEDULE, EFFORT etc. (70% OF PEOPLE FAILURE IN THIS STAGE ONLY. SO BE CAREFUL)

SHOOT: refers to VERY LONG TERM.

BUT WE HAVE TO CHANGE LIKE THIS. READY -> SHOOT -> AIM.

  • THERE IS NO SHORT CUT TO HARD WORK. (Or) THERE IS NO SHORT CUT TO SUCCESS. IF IT HAPPENS, IT WILL NOT TO BE SATBLE. AND IMMEDIATELY YOU PULL DOWN.
  • ACT AS LION OR DEER. IN EVERY DAY MORNING AFTER SUN RISES, LION RUNS BECAUSE IT WANTS TO EAT A DEER. ALSO DEER RUNS BECAUSE IT WANTS TO SAVE HIS LIFE. SO YOU ALWAYS RUN TOWARDS YOUR DESIRE or AMBITION.
  • According to Scientific proof “We are getting 1500 thoughts per minute. And 60000 -75000 thoughts per day. But we don’t know whether the thoughts are good, bad or better. The real fact is we have to know, “whether we are getting Quality of thoughts or not in our mind”.

The next step is we must know how successful persons are differing from us. They always have positive thinking. The research says successful person getting 1200 positive thoughts out of 1500 thoughts. But we are getting more than 1200 thoughts are negative.

The secret of success is positive thinking along with efforts increases the probabilities of your success.

  1. WHO IS PROFESSIONAL? The person, who is working on his /her own improvement the person, is called professional. I am saying even hawkers also one of the professional in this world.
  2. WHY SHOULD I NEED TO CHANGE? Change is very important for everyone. If you are not accepting the change in your company, you will exchange.
